What is the lowest budget movie anyone`s ever made?

I once shot a movie - using an old worn out VHS tape I used to tape TV Programmes on ! - and I think even that I got from someone - so I guess my lowest budget has been ?0 !!

I few freinds came over one night and we thought we'd have some fun so i got my camera and made a horror (which after about 5mins of filming turned into a comedy) we diddnt have a script or anything i just told them what to say and do (whatever i could think of at the time) at about 2 in the morning i plugged in my firewire and edited it (took me about an hour or two). the film went for just over 30mins. I took it to class on monday just for the **** of it and i played it and everyone loved it.. that feeling is so addictive. everyone loving what i just made. it's amazing. anyway yeah we did it with no money.

This Evening, as far as I remember (we shot it over 18 months ago) cost nothing.

And I don't recall Twokking/Tw?tting Zombies costing 20 quid. I think it only cost for maple syrup so that's about 7 quid.

EDIT: Just checked and "Deckchairs" didn't cost a thing either.

I think everyone will of shot a completely budget free movie at some piont. I dont think any of my movies have cost me anything in fact.

"Guns and Girls - The Teaser" including headshots, full-on nudity and fighting with heavily armed guards. My mate paid for the girls (they were pros) and brought the guns. I got the locations free for a day from other mates and brought all the equipment. The guys were queuing up to play in it for nothing because of the girls so that costed zilch either. My total costs for it:

Tape ? 5
Blood sfx kit ?20
Feeding the crew ?60 (the most expensive part)
---
Total ?85

"Sounds of Sing Li" had insurance attached and more, but we still managed to minimize the budget - I even managed to blag a sole cabin for a 15min shoot on the London Eye for free!

i refuse to spend making short movies. so i try to find everything i can use in my garage.

and probably i'm the second one who pays for tapes...
